About the Role
As a Sales Excellence Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing Amazon’s sales training, processes, and systems. Your key objective will be to empower our sales and account management teams to achieve and exceed their revenue goals. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills who can work cross-functionally across different teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work across various teams to influence priorities, decisions, and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Program Development: Develop and manage a program with cross-functional projects that have national impact.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide analysis and insights to senior leadership to support both tactical and strategic business decisions.
- Metrics Design: Create metrics and business review documents that guide the operations team.
- Strategic Presentation: Draft and present key documents to leadership, bringing ideas from inception to implementation.
- Process Improvement: Challenge existing processes using data-driven insights, offering scalable and cost-effective alternatives.
- Data Visualization: Develop insights-oriented visualization tools using Quicksight or Tableau to enhance team operations.
Qualifications and Skills
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in program/project management and business analytics.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Quicksight.
- Ability to work effectively across tech and non-tech teams.
- Proven experience in implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in any specialization.
