Heeramandi Netflix Release Date: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is making his foray on OTT with his eight-part Web Series “Heeramandi” finally been finished and edited. Starring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sangeeda Sheikh in the lead and many more.
Heeramandi is a big budget television period drama series, based on the lives of Tawaifs at the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore. Heeramandi-The Diamond Bazar has been Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s passion project of 14 years.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali in an interview with Netflix’s CEO Ted Sarandos described Heeramandi as his “biggest project” and that that the series would be a tribute to the films Mother India , Mughal-e Azam, and Pakeezah.
Manisha Koirala said in her Social Media Post “It was fun working with gorgeous and super talented ladies!! Watching their professionalism and dedication to shine was inspiring!! We missed our captain of the ship during this photo shoot.”
