The makers of the upcoming film ‘Apurva’ have unveiled their first track titled ‘Diwali,’ featuring Tara Sutaria and Dhairya Karwa. The song, sung and composed by Vishal Mishra with lyrics by Vishal Mishra and Kaushal Kishore, sets the tone for the film’s narrative.
Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat shared his insights on the film, saying, “Though the film is intense at its core, Apurva is a complete entertainer. It combines romance and action, all wrapped around a compelling storyline. The ‘Diwali’ song intricately weaves the narrative, capturing the essence of the night before everything changes for ‘Apurva’.”
Singer and composer Vishal Mishra expressed his enthusiasm for the song, stating, “The ‘Diwali’ song from Apurva is a celebration of love and new beginnings, much like the festival of Diwali. I hope the song resonates with everyone and becomes a favorite ‘Love Anthem.'”
‘Apurva,’ directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, promises to be a story of an ordinary girl facing extraordinary circumstances and the lengths she’s willing to go to survive. The film features a stellar cast, including Rajpal Yadav, Abhishek Banerjee, and Dhairya Karwa.
Tara Sutaria, who plays the lead role in the film, revealed the dedication she put into her character. In an Instagram post, she shared her commitment to the role, stating, “I am proudest of APURVA because I filmed every shot in the film myself. No excuses. I’ve never felt more strength and power than when we filmed… I recall not showering for over a week mid-schedule so that I looked and felt as awful as I was meant to. I rolled in mud and ash (this was honestly fun), and my hair wasn’t brushed for weeks on end!”
‘Apurva’ is set to be released on Disney+ Hotstar on November 15, and the film’s intriguing storyline, combined with Tara Sutaria’s dedicated portrayal, has generated considerable anticipation among fans and movie enthusiasts.
