R&B sensation Brandy is all set to usher in the holiday season with the announcement of her first-ever holiday album, “Christmas With Brandy,” which is scheduled to be released on November 10 via Motown Records. This marks her first full-length project since signing with the label in the summer of 2022.
In a heartfelt message to her fans, Brandy expressed her excitement, saying, “For all my beautiful fans, my new album Christmas With Brandy comes out November 10. I feel so blessed to be able to create an album surrounding joy, family, love, and quality divine time with the ones you love.”
“Christmas With Brandy” will feature 12 tracks, including Brandy’s renditions of classic holiday songs such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Someday at Christmas,” originally recorded by legendary Motown Records alum, Stevie Wonder.
The album also includes some original songs, with titles like “Feels Different” and “Christmas Gift.” Notably, “Christmas Gift” will feature Brandy’s daughter and emerging singer, Sy’Rai, adding a special touch to the album.

The announcement of “Christmas With Brandy” was preceded by teasers from Brandy’s manager, Ryan Ramsey of SALXCO, and A&R executive Jaha Johnson. The latter had posted a clip of himself in the studio, brainstorming the album’s tracklist sequence while Brandy’s rendition of “The Christmas Song” played in the background.
This holiday release is a significant milestone for Brandy as it marks her first album for Motown Records, following her highly acclaimed 2020 album, “b7,” which was named Best R&B Album of the year by Rated R&B.
In a delightful synergy of music and film, Brandy’s holiday album will precede the release of Netflix’s original film, “Best. Christmas. Ever!,” premiering on November 16. The movie stars Brandy as Jackie, who reunites with her old college friend Charlotte, played by Heather Graham. The story revolves around suspicions that Jackie isn’t as happy as her cheery Christmas newsletter suggests.
